Do you do commissioned works?

Yes.  Many of the past works featured on this site are commissioned pieces.  A direct link to commissioned pieces can be found at the top of this site.

How much do you charge for a commissioned work?

It depends.  Pricing is based on the size of the painting requested, the medium (oil vs. acrylic) and the complexity of the requested work itself.  Generally, commissioned works begin at around 200.00USD.  Please feel free to contact me with more information regarding your needs to get a more accurate quote.

How do you receive payments?
I take my payments through PayPal.  I generally send my buyers an invoice through their email once we've discussed the piece(s) they wish to purchase and an agreed upon price. They can then pay with credit card directly through the link in their email.

How long does it take to get a painting done?

Generally, most orders can be fulfilled within the month.  It really depends on how busy I am that month with other paintings.  For commissioned works, I can usually give a more accurate time frame when I provide a price quote for the painting.  It should also be noted that acrylic paintings can be fulfilled faster than oil paintings as acrylics can dry within a few hours while oil paintings may take a couple of weeks to dry.

Is there a big difference between oil and acrylic painting?

There is a difference but it's all a matter of preference.  Different people have different opinions on this but I personally find that oil paints are more vibrant and add more texture to paintings.  The medium itself is also more expensive.  That being said, depending on the painting, it might make more sense to go with acrylic.  I include a detailed description on all photos of my painting so feel free to take a look and decide for yourself which medium you prefer.

If I show you a painting by another artist, will you replicate it for me?

No.  I do not want to steal another artist's artwork.  It is okay to show me another person's work for inspirational purposes but commissioned works will always be unique.

Do you ship?

I currently ship within the US, Canada and to the UK.  Pricing details will be included in your quoted price.
